GOLDIE: UNWANTED BUT WIFE MATERIAL EXAMPLE

Hate her for her ‘Senseless’ love during the Big Brother house, then you will love her for a selfless wife in her husband’s house. Query her for her unreciprocated love to her fellow house mate and you will respect her for an unconditional wife to her future housemate. Criticize her for her daily shores to the ungrateful ‘President’ and you will praise her for an Industrious wife to her husband.
Goldie exited the Big Brother Star game house with a lot of boos even from her country men and from both genders, for her continuous service, love, and loyalty to a fellow house mate – Prezzo, which diverted her focus from the reason of the game, she cooked, did dishes, washed and catered to Prezzo up to the extend of blowing his nose and cleaning his hears in the house but I guess what angered her fans most was the fact that the self acclaimed President never appreciated her love and was ready to take on her at every available option. He put her up for eviction just a week after being saved by her as head of house, quarreled with her, didn’t show concern for her emotions and even described her on the final day of the show as just an ex-housemate.
This so angered her fans that they preferred just anyone else to win the prize to the ungrateful ‘President’, they almost held a rally against the One Ambassador on his reconciliation visit to Nigeria couple of months back and expected Goldie to disregard the Kenyan.
You probably know the rest of the story, how the Nigerian Pop singer was spotted holidaying in the US with the Kenyan rapper and I am sure that already speaks volumes and would spare me some ink here. Well, Prezzo apologized to her, her fans and Nigerians and said he had intentions and wanted them to be another Jay Z and Beyonce.
Now, if we didn’t expect our Goldie to be loyal to a man she thought she loved or be industrious in the house or even be quick to accept apologies, how come we expect wives to have all these qualities? Is it that we don’t want to reap and want to sow? Or we expect our girls to be transformed immediately after taking the wedding vows?
In as much as I seriously criticized Goldie and even a re-union I think what she possesses is actually what we pray for in our wives, so why criticize the Susan in Goldie?.
